This trail links the Outeniqua and Montagu pass with this undulating and challenging hiking / running route. The trail passes through a few river crossings, where you can fill up with water.
You have the option to tag the Losberg peak which is an out and back section and will add 3km total distance.
Starts and finishes at Sputnik or arrange a lift from the top of Montagu Pass.
The weather can be unpredictable at an altitude of more than 800m, even with sunny forecasts, so please make sure you have all the necessary compulsory gear. An extra warm top or base layer is advisable.
