Starting and ending at the entrance in Heatherlands (Plantasie Rd). The hike takes you up to the old George dam. The trail climbs steadily through the plantation, then heads east past Arbour Road and the Botanical Garden before climbing up the mountain.
Almost 10 km from Heatherlands, but you can also start at the Botanical Garden for a shorter walk.
