You will be traversing over the Montagu pass into the Karoo, through Perdepoort to Lovain Guest farm, where you will get onto the Old Voortrekker pass, which is now a 4×4 route. This takes you back over the mountain into a forestry area called Bergplaas.
Take care on the descent, it is very rocky! You then drop down all the way towards the ocean, where you will ride along the lakes forming part of Wilderness National Park. From Wilderness, the route takes you up Whites Road onto the Seven Passes route back to George. This route can be done in either direction.
